Business Development and Sales Generation for an Accredited Environmental and Food Laboratory in Bangalore

• The job description and activities will be reviewed time to time and can be modified and updated depending on need after discussions with the employee
• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions
• Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
• Managing a team/individuals
• Drafting Quotes and Proposals for products and sending to customers
• Follow up on Quotes sent
• Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts at Supplier side
• Follow up on payments in the region
• Identify, qualify, expand, close business relationships with current and new clientele.
• Planning and preparing presentations
• Communicating new developments to prospective clients
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature
• Planning and attending industry and client relevant trade shows
• Providing management with feedback
• Execute profitable business relationships.
