Job Title: Business Development Manager – Field Sales (Education Sector)Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Field-based)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our field sales initiatives. This role involves engaging directly with pre-primary and primary schools, as well as educational distributors, to promote our interactive panels and educational books. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the educational landscape and demonstrate a passion for enhancing learning experiences through innovative solutions.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify and engage with potential schools and distributors to introduce our educational products.
  • Conduct on-site visits to demonstrate product features and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and areas for improvement.
  • Qualifications & SkillsEducational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years in B2B field sales, preferably within the education or EdTech sector.
  • Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
