Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Executive – Food & Beverages
Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding the company’s market presence by identifying new business opportunities, onboarding new retail outlets, and strengthening relationships with distributors, retailers, and HoReCa partners to drive sales growth in the Food & Beverages sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & New Outlet Development
- Identify and onboard new retail outlets, stores, cafés, restaurants,
- Conduct market visits to find and develop new sales outlets in the assigned territory.
- Build a strong retail network to increase product availability and market coverage.
2. Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Increase product penetration in existing and new outlets.
- Develop strategies to boost sales and expand market share.
3. Distributor & Channel Management
- Work closely with distributors to ensure product availability across outlets.
- Support distributors in expanding their retail network.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock movement, and order cycles.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and HoReCa clients.
- Conduct regular outlet visits to ensure product visibility and availability.
- Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly.
5. Trade Marketing & Merchandising
- Ensure proper product display, shelf placement, and branding at outlets.
- Support promotional activities, product sampling, and in-store promotions.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns and brand activation.
6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
- Provide market feedback and suggestions to improve product performance.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and outlet development reports.
- Track new outlet onboarding and market coverage.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for order fulfilment.
Required Skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Technology, or related field.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage / FMCG sales or business development.
