Job Description: Business Development – Clinic Partnerships 


Position: Business Development Executive / Manager 

Department: Business Development (New Clinic Partnerships) 


Location: Assigned Region 


Reporting To: KAM / Regional Manager / Business Head 

 

Role Overview 

The Business Development team member will be responsible for driving new clinic tie-ups, ensuring effective onboarding and activation of clinics, nurturing existing clinic relationships (farming), and delivering business numbers from the assigned region. The role requires daily field activity, structured reporting, and strong coordination with internal stakeholders to achieve monthly targets. 

 


Key Responsibilities 


1. New Clinic Tie-Ups 

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new clinics, hospitals, and medical partners in the assigned territory. 
  • Conduct pitch meetings, business presentations, and negotiations with clinic owners/decision-makers. 
  • Ensure all documentation, agreements, and compliance requirements are completed during onboarding. 

 

2. Daily Meetings (9–10 Meetings Per Day) 

  • Maintain a target of 9–10 productive meetings daily with new and existing clinic partners. 
  • Record meeting outcomes and update CRM/lead management tools on the same day. 
  • Share daily schedules/locations before beginning the day and after completion. 

 

3. Activations (Onboarding & Farming) 

  • Ensure smooth activation of newly onboarded clinics, including training of clinic staff on product, processes, and lead punching. 
  • Regularly visit and support existing clinics to improve lead generation (farming). 
  • Conduct refresh trainings, problem resolution, and performance improvement activities. 

 

4. Business Achievement 

  • Deliver monthly business numbers (lead flow, approvals, disbursements) from assigned clinics. 
  • Track performance metrics: 
  • Leads received 
  • Leads punched 
  • Leads approved 
  • Leads disbursed 
  • Pending leads (approved but not disbursed) 
  • Value of cases disbursed 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure faster approval and disbursement. 

 

5. Daily Reporting & Location Sharing 

  • Share daily MIS/report covering meetings done, pipeline updates, onboarding status, performance of clinics, and business numbers. 
  • Share real-time location updates as per company policy. 
  • Ensure transparency and adherence to daily productivity requirements. 

 

6. Market Intelligence & Relationship Management 

  • Gather competitor insights, pricing, promotional activities, and industry trends. 
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in clinics. 
  • Provide feedback to the product and operations team for process improvements. 

 


Skills & Qualifications 


Must-Have Skills 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills 
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned region 
  • Excellent relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to meet daily and monthly targets 
  • CRM/lead management knowledge 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or similar 
  • 1–4 years of experience in Business Development / Field Sales 
  • Experience in healthcare, finance, diagnostics, or clinic onboarding is a plus

  • Number of new clinics onboarded 
  • Daily meeting productivity (9–10 meetings/day) 
  • Activation completion within defined timelines 
  • Monthly business metrics (lead to disbursement cycle) 
  • Retention & performance of partnered clinics
