Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (B2B) to promote and sell books and school supplies to schools across the city. The role involves building strong relationships with school management, understanding their academic and operational needs, and achieving sales targets through effective field sales activities.

  • Key Responsibilities: Identify, approach, and onboard schools, educational institutions, and coaching centers within the assigned territory.
  • Promote and sell Book kits, School materials such as teaching learning materials, Montessori materials, School Furniture, and school supplies.
  • Conduct regular school visits, meetings with principals, purchase heads, and administrators.
  • Understand school requirements and propose customized product solutions.
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, field visits, and referrals.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
  • Coordinate with the internal team for order processing, delivery, and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and submit regular reports.

  • Good understanding of the school ecosystem
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the city
  • QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing is an added advantage)
  • Prior experience in education, publishing, books, or school supplies sales preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic CRM tools
