Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)Department: Sales & Marketing
Industry: Facility Management & Pest Control Services
Job PurposeTo generate new business, increase company revenue, develop client relationships, and expand market presence for facility management and pest control services.
- Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & SalesIdentify and develop new clients (corporates, residential societies, industries, hospitals, schools, malls, etc.).
- Generate leads through field visits, calls, networking, and referrals.
- Present company services and proposals to clients.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and contracts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- 2. Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction and service quality.
- Handle client complaints and coordinate with operations for quick resolution.
- Conduct regular follow-ups for renewals and upselling.
- 3. Market Research & StrategyStudy competitors and market trends.
- Identify new service opportunities and business areas.
- Suggest pricing and marketing strategies.
- Support branding and promotional activities.
- 4. Coordination with OperationsCoordinate with operations team for smooth service delivery.
- Ensure proper manpower, materials, and schedules.
- Monitor service quality and customer feedback.
- 5. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily/weekly MIS reports.
- Track leads, conversions, and revenue.
- Update CRM or client database.
- Submit performance reports to management.
- Required Skills & QualificationsEducationGraduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Experience2–5 years experience in Facility Management / Pest Control / Service Industry Sales.
- SkillsStrong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good presentation and proposal writing skills.
- Ability to close deals.
- Knowledge of contracts and pricing.
- Computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Email, CRM).
- Time management and planning.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI)Monthly sales target achievement.
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Client retention rate.
- Revenue growth.
- Conversion ratio (Leads vs Deals).
