Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)Job Title / Designation: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Bengaluru

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (B.Com preferred)
  • Knowledge of Tally is an added advantage
  • Preferred RequirementsStrong sales skills with a focus on customer engagement, persuasion, and negotiation
  • Working knowledge of Tally software (preferred)
  • Proficiency in the local language (spoken)
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Graduate in Commerce preferred
  • Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new business leads through field visits, customer references, and networking (e.g., from Chartered Accountants or existing clients)
  • Coordinate with the pre-sales team to schedule product demonstrations
  • Conduct product/solution demos using appropriate tools and share quotations with prospects
  • Understand customer business needs and demonstrate how Tally solutions can address them
  • Identify requirements for customization or additional training for new clients
  • Oversee installation of Tally at client sites and conduct basic training sessions
  • Deliver product training for new customers and ensure smooth onboarding
  • Recognize additional implementation opportunities and generate related leads
  • Share valuable customer feedback with the coordinator and/or management
  • Meet and exceed daily and monthly sales targets


Experience:

  • Proven track record in selling to SMB clients
  • Experience working with Chartered Accountants
  • Background in technology or software sales
