Job Description

Job Title: Regional Expansion & Plant Development ManagerLocation: Pan India (as per project requirements)

Department: Operations / Business Development

Reports To: Head – Expansion & Strategy

Job Purpose:The Regional Expansion & Plant Development Manager will be responsible for executing the company’s regional growth strategy through market research, vendor engagement, and timely setup of new Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plants. This role will also ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintain key partnerships, and drive business efficiency through effective plant performance monitoring.

  1. Key Responsibilities:Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure personal and team compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  1. Regional Growth Strategy Execution

  • Formulate and implement regional expansion plans aligned with the company’s growth roadmap.
  • Conduct market surveys to identify strategic locations for new plant setups.
  1. Market Intelligence & Vendor Management

  • Continuously update market knowledge to spot new growth opportunities.
  • Identify and onboard vendors for new plant setups, including negotiation of contracts and terms.
  1. Project Monitoring & Plant Startups

  • Monitor progress of upcoming plant projects to ensure timely commissioning.
  • Address and resolve any bottlenecks to meet launch deadlines.
  1. Group Collaboration

  • Work with group companies to fulfill in-house RMC needs efficiently.
  1. Key Account Management & Captive Plant Setup

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to establish captive plants as per their requirements.
  1. Vendor Relationship & Dispute Resolution

  • Stay connected with plant vendors for smooth contract execution.
  • Handle issues related to reconciliation, escalation, and ensure timely resolution.
  1. Performance Monitoring

  • Track and assess performance of newly established plants against defined business cases and KPIs.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of experience in operations, project management, or business expansion, preferably in the RMC or construction industry.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and project execution.
  • Key Skills & Competencies:Strategic planning and execution
  • Vendor negotiation and management
  • Project tracking and performance evaluation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance in industrial operations
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
