Cafe Staff

Job Summary

The Cafe Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.

Take orders and process billing/cash handling.

Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, cold drinks) and food items.

Operate coffee machines and basic kitchen equipment (if applicable).

Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, and service areas.

Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Handle customer queries and complaints politely.

Restock supplies and assist in inventory management.

Support opening and closing duties of the cafe.

Requirements

Minimum education: 10th / 12th pass preferred.

Experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality preferred.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Neat appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to stand for long hours.

Preferred Skills

Experience as a Barista or knowledge of coffee preparation.

Familiarity with POS/billing systems.

Team player with a service-oriented mindset.
