Career Counsellor

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Career Counsellor to guide students and working professionals in choosing the right career paths, courses, and skill development programs. The role involves counselling, lead conversion, student engagement, and continuous follow-up to support enrollment and long-term success.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCounselling & GuidanceConduct one-on-one career counselling sessions (in-person / phone / online)
• Understand student background, goals, and concerns to recommend suitable courses
• Provide accurate information about courses, career paths, certifications, and industry trends
• Address student and parent queries confidently and professionally
• Sales & ConversionHandle inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing channels
• Convert enquiries into admissions by effective counselling and follow-ups
• Maintain strong conversion ratios and meet monthly targets
• Build trust and long-term relationships with prospective students
• Coordination & Follow-upMaintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM
• Coordinate with marketing, trainers, and operations teams
• Follow up with prospective students until closure
• Support students through the enrollment and onboarding process
• Reporting & Process ImprovementPrepare daily/weekly counselling and conversion reports
• Share feedback on student objections and market trends
• Suggest improvements in counselling scripts and processes
