Cashier

In 2026, a cashier's role continues to be the primary point of contact for customers in retail, hospitality, and banking environments. The position focuses on processing transactions accurately while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

• Transaction Management: Process sales using cash registers or Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.
• Accuracy & Balancing: Scan items for correct pricing, calculate totals, and ensure cash drawers are balanced at the beginning and end of shifts.
