Job Title: FIDE Rated Chess Coach

Job Summary:

Chessensei is seeking a dedicated and skilled FIDE Rated Chess Coach to train students across different levels and help them build strong tactical and strategic abilities. The coach will support student growth, tournament preparation, and high-quality session delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structured chess classes for various skill levels
• Teach openings, middlegame strategy, tactics, and endgames
• Prepare students for tournaments and competitive events
• Analyze games and provide performance feedback
• Track student progress and maintain training records
• Assign puzzles, practice work, and homework
• Maintain discipline and engagement in class
• Coordinate with parents and management regarding student development

Requirements:

• FIDE Rated player
• Strong knowledge of chess concepts and tournament play
• Prior coaching experience preferred
• Good communication and teaching skills
• Passion for mentoring students

Working Hours:

• 8–9 hours per day
• 6 working days per week

Top Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of chess fundamentals, tactics, and strategies
• Experience in chess coaching/training (online or offline)
• Ability to teach and engage kids effectively
• Proficiency in using Chess.com / Lichess for training and analysis
• Knowledge of opening principles and endgame techniques
• Ability to conduct game analysis and improve student performance

Compensation:

• Pay: ₹3,60,000 – ₹5,40,000 per annum
• Travel Allowance: As per company policy
• Performance Bonus: Based on monthly performance
