Role Summary

The Junior Site Engineer assists in daily site operations, ensuring construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety norms. The role involves site supervision, coordination with contractors, maintaining records, and supporting senior engineers in smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor workmanship quality and report deviations.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and labor teams.
• Take measurements and maintain daily site reports and records.
• Assist in material inspection, usage tracking, and stock maintenance.
• Support in layout marking, leveling, and basic surveying activities.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage on site.
• Report progress, issues, and requirements to senior engineers.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of civil construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Understanding of concreting, shuttering, reinforcement, and finishing works.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards at construction sites.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word; AutoCAD preferred).
