Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery to produce high-precision parts. You will work closely with the programming team to ensure all outputs meet strict quality standards and design specifications.

• Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (routers/milling) according to job specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials (wood, plywood, MDF, etc.) safely and accurately.
• Select and install the correct cutting tools, checking for wear and tear.

Quality Assurance:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints (Civil/Architectural).
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to ensure parts are within tolerance.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

Maintenance & Safety:

• Perform daily and weekly maintenance checks (cleaning, lubrication, coolant levels).
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean shop floor environment.

Documentation:

• Maintain daily production logs and report any machine issues immediately to the supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

1. Education:

• Preferred: Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) OR B.E. Civil Engineering.
• Note: Candidates with a Civil Engineering background who have hands-on manufacturing or joinery experience are highly preferred.

2. Experience:

• 3 – 4 Years of proven experience operating CNC machines.
• Experience in the wood/furniture industry is a distinct advantage.

3. Location Requirement:

• Candidate must currently reside within a 10 km radius of New BEL Road, Bengaluru.

4. Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with standard CNC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or Syntec).
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and understand geometric dimensions.
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code is a plus (to make minor offsets/adjustments).
