CNC Programmer

Job Title: VTL Programmer cum Operator (Fanuc)Location: Peenya, Bangalore

Experience: 2 Years atleast

Machine: Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) – Fanuc Control

Job Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate VTL machines using Fanuc control
• Prepare and modify CNC programs (G-code/M-code) at machine and offline
• Select tools, set tool offsets, and work offsets
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Optimize cycle time, feeds, and speeds
• Monitor machining operations and ensure quality & accuracy
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Follow safety and shop-floor discipline

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in VTL programming and operation
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls
• Ability to independently write, edit, and prove programs
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining practices
• Experience in precision components (bearings / heavy parts – optional)

Preferred:

• Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software
• Ability to handle job setup independently
