VTL Programmer cum Operator

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) Programmer cum Operator who can independently program, set up, and operate VTL machines for precision machining of components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Create and edit CNC programs for VTL machines.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
• Operate VTL machines to produce components as per required dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
• Maintain machine cleanliness, basic maintenance, and ensure safe working practices.
• Coordinate with the production and quality team for smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade.
• Hands-on experience in VTL programming and operation.
• Good knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc preferred).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining processes and measuring instruments.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
