Job Description – CNC Setter

We are looking for a skilled CNC Setter to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for setting up CNC/VMC machines, preparing tools and fixtures, and ensuring accurate machining as per engineering drawings. The role requires strong understanding of 3-axis machining, GD&T, and precision manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare CNC/VMC machines for production runs
• Load programs, set tools, offsets, and fixtures
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components
• Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments
• Follow safety standards and maintain machine cleanliness

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related field
• Experience working on CNC/VMC 3-axis machines
• Ability to read and understand GD&T drawings
• Knowledge of milling operations and tooling
• Familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers preferred
• 2–7 years of relevant industry experience
