Commercial Driver

Job Title: Commercial Vehicle Driver (Tata Ace, Eicher motor / Delivery Vehicle)

• Key Responsibilities:
• Operate commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, vans, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Transport goods or passengers to assigned destinations on time
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Perform routine vehicle inspections (fuel, brakes, tires, lights, etc.)
• Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documents
• Load and unload cargo (if required)
• Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly
• Plan routes using GPS or maps for efficient delivery

• Requirements:
• Valid Commercial Driving License (CDL) (as per Indian RTO norms)
• Minimum X years of driving experience (depends on employer)
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and routes
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Physically fit and able to handle long driving hours
• Ability to read basic documents (in English or local language)

• Time management
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills
• Problem-solving (especially during breakdowns or delays)
• Working Conditions: Long hours, shift work, or overnight travel may be required
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
