Job Description

Job Title: Commis II / Commis III – Vegetable Preparation & Butchery

Company: ITC Limited (Fresh Food Business – Sansho)

Location: ITC Green Centre

About the Role:

We are hiring Commis II / Commis III for our Pan-Asian central kitchen (Sansho brand) under ITC’s Fresh Food Business. The role focuses on high-quality vegetable preparation and butchery operations while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vegetable cutting, chopping, slicing, and portioning as per standard recipes
  • Handle butchery tasks including cleaning, trimming, and portioning of meat/poultry
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards as per SOPs
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
  • Minimize wastage and ensure optimal utilization of ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Relevant experience in kitchen operations (preferred in Pan-Asian or cloud kitchen setup)
  • Basic knowledge of vegetable cutting techniques and/or butchery
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to ₹18,000 (in-hand) for Commis III (higher based on experience for Commis II)
  • Accommodation facility available (₹2,000 deduction if opted)
  • ESIC coverage for salary ≤ ₹21,000
  • Health insurance (₹1 lakh coverage) for salary > ₹21,000 (₹100/month deduction)
