Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Commis I with strong knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisine to support daily canteen food production. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and food safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook dishes from North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisines as per standard recipes.
• Assist in bulk food production for canteen operations.
• Ensure proper mise en place before service.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines).
• Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work area.
• Support senior chefs during peak hours and special menus.
• Minimize food wastage and control portion costs.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials.
• Required Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of Indian gravies, curries, tandoor items, dosa/idli preparation, and basic Chinese sauces.
• Ability to handle bulk cooking in a canteen environment.
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Time management and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
