Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and guidelines
  • Assist the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure mise en place (pre-preparation) is completed before service
  • Maintain quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
  • Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI standards
  • Proper storage and labeling of food items
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Follow kitchen safety standards and procedures
  • Train and guide Commis 2 / Commis 3 if required
  • Skills RequiredBasic to advanced cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of Indian / Continental / relevant cuisine
  • Time management and multitasking
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Attention to detail in presentation
