Job Description
- Core Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs (Commis I, Demi Chef, Chef de Partie)
- Basic food preparation:
- Washing, cutting, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the workstation
- Follow recipes and instructions strictly
- 🔹 In Korean CuisinePrep ingredients for dishes like:
- Kimchi components (cabbage, radish, seasoning mix)
- Basic marinades for bulgogi or galbi
- Assist in:
- Portioning banchan (side dishes)
- Preparing rice and soups (e.g., doenjang jjigae base prep)
- Ensure fermentation ingredients are handled properly
Skills Expected
Knife skills (basic level)
- Understanding of ingredients
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
- Willingness to learn and adapt
