Cook / Chef

We are seeking a trustworthy and skilled Residential Cook to manage daily meal preparation for a household. The ideal candidate should be experienced in home-style cooking, have a good understanding of taste preferences, nutrition, and hygiene, and be able to handle kitchen responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, tasty, and hygienic meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as per the family’s preferences.
• Plan meals weekly and maintain a balanced, healthy menu.
• Manage grocery planning, ingredient preparation, and kitchen inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and utensils.
• Handle cooking for guests or small gatherings as required.
• Follow dietary restrictions or special meal instructions (e.g., low spice, diabetic-friendly, child meals).
• Ensure minimal food wastage and proper storage of leftovers.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a home cook or in a similar role.
• Skilled in Indian cuisine (North/South), with basic knowledge of other styles (Continental, Chinese, etc., optional).
• Excellent sense of taste, portion control, and presentation.
• Strong hygiene and food safety habits.
• Ability to manage kitchen independently and take initiative.
• Basic communication skills in Hindi/English/Regional language.
• Personal Qualities:Trustworthy and respectful in household settings.
• Punctual, disciplined, and well-mannered.
• Calm and organized under daily routines.
• Friendly and adaptable to family preferences.

Education:

• Good communication skills and basic english communication
• Training or certification in cooking is preferred.

Compensation:

• Salary based on experience and work hours.
• Meals and accommodation (if live-in) can be provided.

Work Schedule:

• Typically 8–10 hours per day (customizable based on family needs).
• Weekly off: Sunday
