Counsellor / In-House Sales Executive – EduTech

About the Role
We are looking for passionate and result-oriented Parent Counsellors / In-House Sales Executives to join our growing EduTech team. The role involves counselling parents and students, understanding their academic needs, and guiding them towards the right learning programs. This is a high-impact role ideal for individuals with proven counselling or inside sales experience in the education or edtech sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel parents and students about our academic programs through calls, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses and learning pathways.
- Convert enquiries into successful enrollments by providing accurate information and guidance.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and follow up effectively to drive conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM systems regularly.
- Build strong relationships with parents and ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Meet and exceed individual enrollment and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with academic and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding of students.
Eligibility & Requirements
- 6 months to 3 years of experience in education counselling, EdTech sales, inside sales, or academic advisory roles.
- Proven track record of achieving counselling or sales targets is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and regional language.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable working on weekends with a weekday off.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with prior experience as Parent Counsellors, Academic Counsellors, Admission Counsellors, or Inside Sales Executives in EduTech or educational institutions.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
