Department: Warehouse & Logistics Operations

Role Summary

The Data Entry Operator – Warehouse & Logistics is responsible for accurately recording all warehouse and logistics transactions in the system (inward, outward, stock, dispatch, returns, etc.) and supporting daily operations through timely reports and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update all inward (GRN) and outward / dispatch entries in ERP / WMS / Excel on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate records of stock, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
• Create and update pick lists, shipment lists, vehicle loading sheets and delivery challans / e‑way bill details as required.
• Verify data against physical documents (LR, invoices, gate pass, GRN, DC, etc.) and ensure there are no mismatches or missing entries.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and dispatch team to capture correct quantities, SKUs, batch/serial numbers, and locations.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports such as stock report, inward/outward summary, ageing report, and dispatch MIS and share with operations/clients.
• Support reconciliation of physical stock vs. system stock during cycle counts and full stock audits.
• Maintain proper filing (physical and soft copy) of all documents related to warehouse and logistics activities.
• Escalate any data discrepancy, shortage, damage, or documentation issue to the warehouse in‑charge / manager.
• Follow company SOPs for data entry, documentation, and confidentiality of information.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / 12th pass with 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse / logistics data entry or similar role.
• Good typing speed with high accuracy; strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, email, and preferably ERP/WMS (SAP / Tally / Odoo / any logistics software).
• Basic understanding of warehouse documents: invoice, LR, e‑way bill, GRN, DC, stock report, etc.

Willingness to work in warehouse environment and support extended hours during month‑end / peak operations.
