Job Description – Debugging Technician

Job Title: Technician – PCB Debugging

Department: Manufacturing – PCB Boarding

Location: Electronic City, Bengaluru

Reports To: Production / Manufacturing Manager

Job Summary

The Debugging Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues in assembled PCBs and PLC modules. The role focuses on board-level fault isolation, root cause analysis, and reducing rework and rejection in the production line.

Key Responsibilities

Perform board-level debugging of SMT and THT assembled PCBs.

Identify component failures using schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.

Troubleshoot power supply, signal integrity, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet).

Perform firmware flashing and hardware-software validation.

Support NPI builds and pilot runs with quick issue resolution.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with R&D for design-related defects.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer.

Ability to interpret schematics and BOMs.

Experience in PLC hardware debugging preferred.
