Delivery Executive

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics & Delivery Executive to manage delivery operations, ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, good communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations

• Pick up and deliver goods to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Plan daily routes for efficient delivery schedules.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed as assigned.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and sales teams for smooth operations.
• Manage loading/unloading of goods and ensure proper handling.
• Track shipments and update delivery status in real time.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and proof-of-delivery documents.
• Verify shipment details and ensure accuracy of delivered items.
• Report any delivery delays, issues, or customer complaints promptly.

Vehicle & Material Handling

• Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and in good running condition.
• Follow safety standards and company guidelines during delivery.
• Manage company equipment, tools, and materials responsibly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics or delivery operations (preferred).
• Valid driving license (two-wheeler/four-wheeler as applicable).
• Strong time management and route planning skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to handle goods safely and work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of mobile apps and GPS navigation.

Additional Skills (Optional):

• Experience with delivery management software.
• Familiarity with warehouse/ inventory operations.
• Ability to handle cash collections and reconcile payments.

Work Conditions:

• Field-based role involving daily travel.
• May require working on weekends or extended hours based on delivery demand.
