Job Title: Installation & Commissioning Technician

Product: Kirloskar Green Brand Diesel Generators.

Location- Bangalore.

Electro Equipments was set up in 2007 and deals in variety of products and services related to electrical generation, distribution and control. An ISO 9001 company the organization is a leading OEM of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL).

Job Type- Full Time

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of Diesel Generator (DG) sets at client sites and company locations. The role requires hands-on technical expertise to ensure smooth operation, safety, and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation and commissioning of DG Sets as per technical specifications and safety norms.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets, engines, alternators, control panels, and associated systems.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults in DG sets.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and customers during installation and commissioning activities.
• Maintain installation reports, commissioning checklists, and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians, if required.
• Tour and travels will be required around 20 days a month in the entire southern part of India.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience in installation and commissioning of DG Sets.
• Hands-on experience with DG engines, alternators, AMF panels, and control systems.
• Good understanding of electrical wiring, load testing, and synchronization basics.

• Physically fit to handle on-site maintenance work
