Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assemble multirotor and fixed-wing UAV platforms as per design and mission requirements.
  • Integrate key drone subsystems including flight controller, GPS, telemetry, ESCs, motors, and payloads.
  • Configure and calibrate Pixhawk-based autopilot systems for safe and reliable operation.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections, functional checks, and system validation before test missions.
  • Conduct test flights to evaluate drone stability, navigation accuracy, endurance, and payload performance.
  • Troubleshoot flight anomalies, hardware faults, and software configuration issues.
  • Use Mission Planner for flight planning, parameter tuning, waypoint missions, and log analysis.
  • Perform firmware updates, sensor calibration, PID tuning, and flight controller setup.
  • Maintain flight logs, test reports, and documentation for internal and customer reference.
  • Demonstrate UAV capabilities to customers, including autonomous missions and payload operations.
  • Deliver drones to customers with complete operational briefing, training, and handover support.
  • Support customer field trials and assist in resolving operational issues post-delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company SOPs.
  • Coordinate with R&D and production teams for improvements based on flight test feedback.
  • Manage safe handling, packaging, and transport of drones during delivery and deployment.


Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong foundational experience working in the Pixhawk autopilot environment (ArduPilot ecosystem).
  • Proficiency in Mission Planner for mission setup, calibration, parameter configuration, and log review.
  • Minimum 50+ hours of hands-on drone flight experience (manual + autonomous operations).
  • Experience in assembling, integrating, and testing UAV platforms from scratch.
  • Solid understanding of UAV flight dynamics, propulsion systems, telemetry, and navigation sensors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues during integration and flight testing.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures, pre-flight protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to travel for customer demonstrations, training, and drone delivery support
