The Engineer – EHS position will be based in Bangalore.
Responsible for implementation of routine activities related to the efficient management of Environmental & Occupational Health management system programs and policies to ensure compliance with Company requirements, local, state and federal regulations.
Responsible for Regulatory and Quality, EHS Systems Internal Audits. Support the organization to conform and comply with regulations, internal policies, directives, and procedures in order to achieve and exceed the Quality objectives expected by the customer and the organization.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do
1.	Prepare Internal Audits plan. Performing internal audits to verify compliance and conformance to all regulatory and Quality & EHS systems requirements, including both Customer and Flex mandated.
2.	Engage in External Audit Processes (Customers', Regulatory, Government Agencies, etc.)
3.	Verify the proper implementation and effectiveness of the applicable Regulations, Standards, Policies, Directives and Level 1 Procedures in the organization
4.	Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
5.	Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
6.	Provide support to any area that requires help to implement regulatory, Quality, EHS requirements into their processes.
7.	Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance.
8.	Responsible for identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions
9.	Participate in accident report investigations and determine if event was related to furniture, fixtures or machinery as well as how such accidents might be prevented in the future
10.	Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
11.	Conducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency response, safety policies, laws and practices.
12.	Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and validate their effectiveness.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)
1.	3-4 years’ experience in EHS management systems. 
2.	Work Experience in establishing Internal Quality & EHS Systems Manuals and Level 1 Procedures, Manufacturing / Service work instructions, Forms.
3.	Internal auditor certificate for QMS or EHS Management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TL, etc.)
4.	Training/Knowledge on Regulations and Quality & EHS Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TL, etc.)
