Job Description: Civil Department Electrician Assistant –

Job Summary:

The Electrician Assistant (Execution) will assist in the execution of electrical works at construction sites, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components under the supervision of qualified electricians and engineers. The role supports the smooth execution of civil and electrical integration works, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:·      

  Assist electricians in installing conduits, cables, switches, lighting, sockets, and panels.

·        Support the execution of electrical works in coordination with civil teams (e.g., embedding conduits in concrete, wall chasing, junction box installation).

·        Handle basic tools and equipment safely and responsibly.

·        Prepare and arrange materials for electrical installation as per drawings and instructions.

·        Maintain cleanliness and order at the worksite.

·        Follow site safety rules and wear PPE at all times.

·        Assist in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.

·        Ensure proper coordination between civil and electrical activities to avoid rework.

·        Report daily progress and issues to the site supervisor or engineer.

·        Help in cable pulling, termination preparation, and fixture mounting.

Qualifications & Skills:·        

Minimum: ITI / Diploma (Electrical) or equivalent.

·        1–3 years of experience in civil/electrical site execution work preferred.

·        Basic understanding of electrical installation tools, materials, and safety procedures.

·        Ability to read and follow basic site instructions and drawings.

·        Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.

·        Team player with good communication and discipline.
