**Job Summary:**  

The Vending Machine Assembler/Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining vending machines. This role involves working with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components to ensure the machines function properly. The technician may also troubleshoot and repair machines, install them at customer locations, and provide ongoing maintenance services.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. **Assembly:**  

  - Assemble vending machines according to technical specifications and blueprints.  

  - Install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, such as coin mechanisms, bill validators, motors, and control panels.  

  - Ensure all parts are securely fitted and function correctly.  

2. **Testing and Quality Control:**  

  - Test assembled machines to ensure they operate efficiently and meet quality standards.  

  - Diagnose and resolve any issues with machine functionality.  

  - Perform final inspections before machines are shipped or installed.  

3. **Installation and Setup:**  

  - Deliver and install vending machines at customer locations.  

  - Set up machines, ensuring they are properly connected to power sources and any network systems (for cashless payments or remote monitoring).  

  - Train customers on basic machine operation and maintenance.  

4. **Maintenance and Repairs:**  

  - Perform routine maintenance on vending machines to ensure optimal performance.  

  - Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, either on-site or in the workshop.  

  - Replace worn-out or defective parts, such as motors, sensors, or control boards.  

5. **Inventory and Documentation:**  

  - Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.  

  - Document assembly processes, repairs, and maintenance activities.  

  - Provide reports on machine performance and issues.

### **Qualifications and Skills:**  

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.  

- **Experience:** Previous experience in assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical or electronic equipment is a plus.  

- **Technical Skills:**  

 - Proficiency in using hand and power tools.  

 - Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems.  

 - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.  

- **Problem-Solving:** Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix issues.  

- **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments (workshops, customer sites, etc.).  

- **Communication:** Good interpersonal and customer service skills.  

- **Attention to Detail:** Precision in assembling and testing machines to ensure quality and safety.
