Elevator & Lift Technician

Job SummaryThe Elevator Erector is responsible for the installation, assembly, and alignment of elevator systems and components at project sites. The role requires technical expertise, ability to read drawings, and adherence to safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble elevator equipment including rails, brackets, machines, doors, cabins, and counterweights.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and layout plans.
• Perform shaft measurements and ensure proper alignment of guide rails.
• Install mechanical and structural components as per specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site workers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Inspect installed components for accuracy and quality.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in elevator installation (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of elevator systems and installation techniques.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
