Job Title: Secondary School Teacher – English

Role Overview 

Brilliant National School is looking for a qualified and passionate English Teacher to handle Classes 9, 10 focusing on literature, language skills, and exam-oriented preparation as per the CBSE curriculum. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Classes 9, 10 & 11, aligned with CBSE syllabus. 

• Teach prose, poetry, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension with a focus on board exam requirements. 

• Design and evaluate class tests, assignments, and term examinations; maintain accurate records of student performance. 

• Use activity-based and technology-enabled teaching methods (smart board, PPT, audio-visual resources). 

• Support students in projects, debates, elocution, and other English language activities. 

• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. 

• Communicate student progress to parents through PTMs and reports, as per school norms. 

Eligibility / Qualifications 

• Graduate/Postgraduate in English (B.A./M.A. in English). 

• B.Ed. (mandatory), CTET/KARTET preferred. 

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching secondary classes (9–10) and senior secondary (11) in a CBSE/ICSE board school. 

• Strong communication skills in English and good classroom management. 

Work Location & Timings 

• Location: Mandur - Bengaluru, Karnataka 

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (one Saturday off as per school policy, if applicable) 

• Timings: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM  

Salary & Benefits 

• Salary: ₹___ to ₹___ per month (commendation with qualification & experience). 

• PF/ESI and other benefits as per school HR policy. 

• Pick-up and drop facility available up to designated fixed points on school transport routes.
