Job Title: English Teacher

Job Summary:

An English Teacher is responsible for teaching reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills to students. The role includes planning lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment that supports language development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and literature
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and exams
• Provide constructive feedback to students
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage participation
• Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress (if applicable)
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
• Teaching certification (if required by institution/country)
• Strong command of the English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Classroom management skills
