Job Summary

The Conventions Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing conventions, conferences, exhibitions, and large-scale events. The role ensures smooth operations, client satisfaction, compliance with safety norms, and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage conventions, conferences, meetings, and corporate events.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage venue setup, seating arrangements, audio-visual systems, lighting, and décor.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, caterers, and service providers.
• Supervise event staff, housekeeping, security, and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor event progress and resolve issues promptly during the event.
• Oversee post-event dismantling and ensure venue restoration.
• Prepare event reports, billing details, and client feedback.
• Maintain inventory of event equipment and materials.
• Control operational costs and ensure events are delivered within budget.
