Role Overview

Happy Food Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a visionary and disciplined Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. As the leader of the kitchen, you will be responsible for defining our menu identity, ensuring world-class food safety, and managing a high-performing team. Your goal is to balance culinary creativity with the operational efficiency required in a fast-paced food technology environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Culinary Leadership & InnovationDesign and implement innovative menus that align with the brand’s "Happy Food" philosophy.
  • Oversee the development of standardized recipes to ensure consistency across all outlets.
  • Stay ahead of food trends and incorporate modern techniques to improve food quality and presentation.

2. Operational ExcellenceManage the end-to-end kitchen workflow, from raw material procurement to final plating.

  • Implement rigorous food cost control measures and optimize inventory turnover to minimize wastage.
  • Oversee high-volume production while maintaining the highest standards of taste and hygiene.

3. Team Management & TrainingLead, mentor, and train a diverse kitchen team (including Sous Chefs, Assistant Cooks, and Commi staff).

  • Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of professional growth and discipline.
  • Coordinate with the HR and Operations teams to ensure optimal staffing levels.

4. Quality & ComplianceEnsure 100% compliance with FSSAI standards and internal health and safety protocols.

  • Conduct regular kitchen audits for cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and storage practices.
  • Address and resolve any client feedback regarding food quality or service speed.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Executive Chef or Head Chef).
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of diverse cuisines (multi-cuisine experience is a plus) and kitchen management software.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage large teams under high-pressure situations.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage food costs (P&L) and kitchen budgets effectively.
