Facility Supervisor

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR – JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Housekeeping Supervisor shall be responsible for supervising housekeeping activities and ensuring that cleanliness standards are maintained across the premises.

1. Team Supervision• Allocate daily duties to housekeeping staff based on area assignments.

• Ensure staff report to duty on time and are properly deployed in assigned areas.

• Monitor attendance, leave, and replacement in case of absenteeism.

2. Cleaning Quality Monitoring• Regularly inspect office areas, shopfloor passages, washrooms, and common areas.

• Ensure cleaning activities are carried out as per the agreed housekeeping practices.

• Address any complaints related to housekeeping promptly.

3. Coordination with Client• Act as the primary point of contact between the housekeeping team and the client representative.

• Receive instructions from the client and ensure they are communicated to the housekeeping team.

• Report any operational issues to the Contractor’s management.

4. Materials and Equipment Control• Ensure proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.

• Monitor availability of consumables such as cleaning chemicals, mops, and tools.

• Ensure housekeeping equipment is kept clean and stored properly.

5. Safety and Discipline• Ensure housekeeping staff follow safety instructions within the premises.

• Maintain discipline and proper conduct among the housekeeping team.

• Ensure staff wear uniform and maintain personal hygiene.

6. Reporting• Maintain basic records such as attendance, duty allocation, and cleaning schedules.

• Report any damage, unsafe condition, or unusual situation observed in the premises.

7. General Responsibility• Ensure overall cleanliness of assigned areas during working hours.

• Support the contractor in maintaining service standards agreed with the client.
