Factory Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and responsible Factory Manager to handle end-to-end factory operations for both residential and commercial interior projects. The role requires strong expertise in cutting lists, machine operations, manpower management, and coordination with execution teams to ensure timely, high-quality production.

• Key Responsibilities:Factory Operations & ProductionPrepare, review, and finalize cutting lists as per residential and commercial interior drawings.
• Plan production schedules based on multiple project timelines and priorities.
• Ensure accurate manufacturing of custom residential furniture and bulk commercial components.
• Control material usage and minimize wastage.
• Machine & Equipment ManagementOversee all factory machines including CNC, panel saw, edge banding, drilling, and finishing equipment.
• Ensure proper machine utilization, safety, and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manpower ManagementManage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, helpers, and supervisors.
• Allocate manpower based on project requirements and production targets.
• Monitor productivity, discipline, attendance, and performance.
• Provide guidance and training to improve efficiency and workmanship.
• Coordination with Execution TeamCoordinate with site execution and project teams for production planning and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to residential and commercial sites.
• Address site feedback, modifications, and rectifications promptly.
• Quality Control & Factory ManagementMaintain quality standards for both customized residential finishes and commercial bulk production.
• Implement quality checks at all stages of production.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, hardware, and consumables.
• Ensure factory safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of cutting lists, interior drawings, and BOQs.
• Hands-on experience in residential and commercial interior factory operations.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Experience:7–12 years of experience in interior fit-out or furniture manufacturing factories.
• Prior experience as Factory Manager or Production Head preferred.
