Field Collection Executive

Key ResponsibilitiesDebt Collection: Recovery agents contact debtors to negotiate payment plans, collect overdue payments, and ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts. They may communicate via phone, email, or written correspondence. 

Negotiation: They negotiate with debtors to establish payment deadlines or plans, aiming to resolve issues amicably while maintaining professionalism and trust. 

Documentation: Recovery agents are responsible for maintaining accurate records of all interactions with debtors, updating account statuses, and preparing reports on collection activities and performance metrics. 

Legal Compliance: They must comply with relevant laws and regulations regarding debt collection practices, ensuring that all actions taken are legal and ethical. Customer Service: Handling customer inquiries and complaints is essential, as recovery agents must balance the need for debt recovery with maintaining positive customer relationships. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively negotiating and resolving conflicts with debtors. 
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to persuade debtors to pay their debts while maintaining a professional demeanor. 
• Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legal requirements and regulations related to debt collection. 
• Experience: Previous experience in debt collection or a related field is often preferred. 
• Education: A high school diploma is typically required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree may be advantageous.
