Position Title: Cab Driver Recruitment Associate

Location: Field-based (Bangalore)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Cab Driver Recruitment Associate in Bangalore to help grow and support the Uber platform. This role includes onboarding new cab drivers and re-engaging inactive drivers or vehicles that haven't taken a trip in over 84 days. You will play a vital part in helping drivers start or restart their journey with Uber and unlock earning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Driver & Cab Sourcing:

Identify and engage with new cab drivers or cab owners who are interested in joining Uber.

Visit high-potential areas like RTOs, cab stands, fleet hubs, and car service centers to find prospective drivers.

Explain Uber’s benefits, earnings potential, and how to get started on the platform.

2. Onboarding Support:

Assist new drivers with the registration and documentation process (driver's license, cab papers, permits, etc.).

Guide them through app installation, training, and account activation.

Ensure drivers and vehicles are fully compliant and ready to go live.

3. Re-Engagement of Inactive Drivers/Cabs:

Identify Uber drivers or vehicles in Bangalore who haven’t taken a trip in 84+ days.

Reach out via phone or in person to understand their challenges and reasons for inactivity.

Provide solutions, app support, or motivation to get them back on the road.

Help reactivate accounts or assist with document updates if needed.

4. First Trip Activation:

Follow up with both new and reactivated drivers to ensure they complete their first trip quickly.

Provide encouragement and resolve any early-stage issues to ensure smooth experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Comfortable with field work across Bangalore.

Strong communication skills in Kannada, English, and Hindi (preferred).

Ability to motivate, guide, and resolve concerns for both new and inactive drivers.

Prior experience in driver onboarding, field sales, or similar roles is a plus.

Minimum qualification: 12th pass or diploma.

Experience:

Field experience in mobility, logistics, sales, or customer support preferred.

Familiarity with Uber, Ola, or other tech platforms is an added advantage.

Working Conditions:

Fully field-based role with direct engagement across Bangalore.

Must be flexible with work hours and location depending on driver availability.

Daily/weekly targets for new driver onboarding and reactivation follow-ups.
