Job Description

Position: Sales Executive – Building Materials Industry

Location: Singasandra, Bangalore - 560068

Experience: 3-5 years in sales within the building materials industry or (Plywood, Veneer, Laminates, MDF, etc.)

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Executive to drive our sales efforts, grow our market presence, and build strong relationships with clients in the building materials industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:
  • Identify and establish relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and Modular Factories (OEMs).
  • Actively seek and target new OEMs to introduce and promote our range of plywood products, especially calibrated MR plywood and Marine plywood.
  • Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits to build trust and win new business.
  • Follow up on leads and ensure timely communication with potential clients.
  • Product Promotion:
  • Introduce and educate clients about our high-quality products, including calibrated MR plywood, Marine plywood, and other building materials.
  • Highlight the advantages and competitive pricing of our plywood offerings during meetings with architects, interior designers, and contractors.
  • Sales & Targets:
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with both new and existing clients.
  • Field Sales & Networking:
  • Engage in face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs and showcase our product range.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to expand the company’s presence and network.
  • Market Insight:
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Share valuable market feedback with the sales and management teams.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM Management:
  • Update CRM systems (Zoho or similar) with client information, leads, and sales progress regularly.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the management team.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Work closely with the Sales Head and team to align strategies and meet sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams for promotional activities and product launches.


Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the building materials industry, focusing on plywood, laminates, veneers, and related products.
  • Client Network: Strong connections with architects, interior designers, contractors, and OEMs are highly advantageous.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present products and services effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools like Zoho or Salesforce for managing sales pipelines.
  • Knowledge of building materials like Plywood, Veneer, MDF, and Laminates is a must.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple clients and sales cycles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set and track KPIs.
  • Familiarity with the building materials industry’s market dynamics and customer needs.


Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹35000 - ₹55,000 per month

Schedule: Day shift
