Job Description

  • Customer Meetings & Presentations: Traveling to meet with potential and existing clients to present products, demonstrate services, and understand their business needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within their assigned territory.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing sales deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline status.
  • Market Feedback: Providing feedback to marketing and product development teams on customer needs, competitive activities, and product performance.

A Field Sales Executive (sometimes called a Sales Representative, Account Executive, or Outside Sales Rep) is responsible for driving revenue by selling products or services directly to customers in a specific geographical area, often traveling to meet them face-to-face.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships.
  • Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated and driven to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage a large territory, prioritize tasks, schedule appointments, and maintain detailed records.
  • Product Knowledge: The capacity to quickly learn and articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Travel Readiness: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently within the assigned sales territory.
