Job Description
- Assist in planning and execution of statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits
- Verify books of accounts, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
- Perform audit procedures and prepare audit working papers
- Assist in preparation of audit reports and observations
- Support compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws
- Participate in bank audits, stock audits, and system audits (as applicable)
- Assist in filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and other statutory filings
- Coordinate with clients to collect required information and documents
- Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Understanding of Income Tax and GST fundamentals
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/other ERP)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
- Eligibility Criteria Registered CA Article Trainee (ICAI)
- Cleared CA Foundation / Intermediate (as applicable)
- Willingness to learn and take on professional responsibilities
