Finance Executive

Job SummaryThe Finance & Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, accounting processes, budgeting, compliance, and taxation. The role also includes overseeing material purchases, vendor management, cost control, and coordination with project and site teams to ensure timely procurement and financial efficiency for interior projects.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & AccountsMaintain complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and project-wise profitability
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection from clients
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports for management
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
• File GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings on time
• Material Purchase & Vendor ManagementHandle end-to-end material procurement for interior projects
• Source, negotiate, and finalize vendors and suppliers
• Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders
• Ensure materials are procured as per approved budgets and timelines
• Coordinate with site and project teams for material requirements
• Track material deliveries, GRNs, and inventory records
• Control material costs and avoid wastage
• Maintain vendor payment schedules and resolve discrepancies
• Project Costing & ControlsPrepare project cost sheets and monitor budgets
• Track project expenses and ensure cost optimization
• Analyze variances between estimated and actual costs
• Support management with financial insights for project decisions
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in finance & accounts, preferably in interior, construction, or real estate industry
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Experience with GST and compliance
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
• Vendor negotiation and purchase management skills
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
