Financial Analyst

Job Description We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Financial Analyst & Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, and financial scrutiny of customer financials for lending and financing purposes.

The role involves both analytical work (financial statement review and credit assessment) and operational accounting responsibilities, including bookkeeping, GST compliance, and statutory filings.

• Key ResponsibilitiesScrutinise and analyse customer financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
• Assess creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and financial risk
• Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and red flags in financial data
• Maintain books of accounts using Tally
• Record day-to-day transactions, bank reconciliation, and ledger management
• Prepare and finalise accounts on a monthly and annual basis
• Handle GST compliance, including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliations
• Manage TDS calculations, returns, and compliance
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and consultants
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations
• Required Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Hands-on experience with Tally
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com)
• CA Inter / MBA Finance (preferred but not mandatory)

• Experience in NBFC, lending, finance, or CA firm is an added advantage
• Experience. 3 years minimum years of relevant experience
• Freshers with strong accounting and analytical knowledge may also apply
