Job Description

  • Guest Service and Satisfaction:
  • Greeting and welcoming guests, ensuring a positive first impression. 
  • Taking orders, making recommendations, and answering questions about menu items. 
  • Addressing guest complaints and requests promptly and efficiently. 
  • Ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently. 
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction and taking corrective action as needed. 
  • Staff Management and Supervision:
  • Supervising and directing the work of servers, bussers, and other restaurant staff. 
  • Conducting pre-shift briefings and providing guidance to staff. 
  • Training and developing staff to ensure they meet service standards. 
  • Ensuring staff adherence to service standards and company policies. 
  • Operational Coordination:
  • Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service. 
  • Overseeing the set-up and maintenance of the restaurant or dining area. 
  • Managing inventory and ensuring adequate supplies are available. 
  • Monitoring and ensuring F&B service operations are running smoothly. 
  • Sales and Revenue:
  • Actively engaging in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase revenue. 
  • Understanding menu items and being able to describe them effectively to guests. 
  • Ensuring that all guests are served in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Other Duties:
  • Assisting in recruiting, training, and supervising front-of-house staff. 
  • Ensuring the staff members follow safety and sanitary standards and procedures. 
  • Monitoring the inventory of supplies and equipment. 
  • Managing event budgets and expenses.
