Job Description
- Guest Service and Satisfaction:
- Greeting and welcoming guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Taking orders, making recommendations, and answering questions about menu items.
- Addressing guest complaints and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and taking corrective action as needed.
- Staff Management and Supervision:
- Supervising and directing the work of servers, bussers, and other restaurant staff.
- Conducting pre-shift briefings and providing guidance to staff.
- Training and developing staff to ensure they meet service standards.
- Ensuring staff adherence to service standards and company policies.
- Operational Coordination:
- Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service.
- Overseeing the set-up and maintenance of the restaurant or dining area.
- Managing inventory and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Monitoring and ensuring F&B service operations are running smoothly.
- Sales and Revenue:
- Actively engaging in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase revenue.
- Understanding menu items and being able to describe them effectively to guests.
- Ensuring that all guests are served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Other Duties:
- Assisting in recruiting, training, and supervising front-of-house staff.
- Ensuring the staff members follow safety and sanitary standards and procedures.
- Monitoring the inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Managing event budgets and expenses.
