Forklift Operator

A forklift operator's job involves safely and efficiently operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials and products in warehouses, construction sites, or other facilities. Key duties include inspecting machinery, maintaining safety protocols, tracking inventory with RF scanners, and ensuring materials are properly stored or prepared for shipment. Essential requirements typically include a high school diploma, valid forklift certifications, physical coordination, and attention to detail. 

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling:
• Load, unload, and transport materials, raw products, and finished goods using a forklift. 
• Inventory Management:
• Move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, update activity logs, and use RF scanners to track inventory accurately. 
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other industrial vehicles, identify any required repairs, and perform minor maintenance. 
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow safety regulations, company guidelines, and established safety procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
