Job Description

A furniture sales executive drives revenue by greeting customers, understanding their design needs, providing product expertise on materials and trends, and closing sales to meet targets. They manage showroom displays, handle transactions, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. They also maintain inventory records, build client relationships, and may handle B2B sales. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Sales: Greet customers, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate furniture solutions. Achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
  • Product Expertise: Provide detailed information on materials, styles, functionality, and customization options.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing, while assisting with inventory management and restocking displays.
  • Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately and handle financing, payment plans, and delivery scheduling.
  • Relationship Building: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and foster repeat business.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product changes.
  • Operational Tasks: Handle administrative tasks, including preparing sales reports, updating client databases, and managing customer inquiries. 

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous retail or furniture sales experience is often required.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for negotiating and building client relationships.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of design, furniture trends, and product materials.
  • Traits: Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
