About Us

We're Equipp – a laptop rental company (check us out at equipp.in – and yes, we'd love it if you did some homework on us before we chat!). We've been operating for one year with support from freelancers, but now we're expanding our core team.

 

You'll be our first full-time employee, so this role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment. If you're adaptable, a great communicator, and eager to grow with us, we’d love to have you on board!

 

 

About the Role

As our Operations & Customer Support Lead, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll manage customer interactions, coordinate deliveries, and keep our inventory organized. While technical skills will be taught on the job, your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and solve problems independently will be key to your success.

 

This is an on-site job, the location is WeWork Prestige Central, Infantry Road, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

 

📞 Customer Support & Relationship Management

-      Handle customer queries via WhatsApp, calls, and emails.

-      Guide customers through onboarding and payment processes.

-      Build relationships with long-term rental clients and ensure a great experience.

 

📦 Operations & Inventory Management

-      Coordinate laptop deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely service.

-      Maintain an inventory tracking system in Excel.

-      Work with logistics partners (e.g., Porter) to ensure smooth operations.

 

🧾 Admin & Payment Coordination

-      Track payments and rental renewals, following up when needed.

-      Generate invoices and reports to keep records updated.

-      Communicate with vendors and suppliers for stock and maintenance needs.

 

💻 Laptop Upgrades & Repairs (To Be Learned on the Job)

-      Over time, you’ll be trained in diagnosing and fixing basic laptop issues.

-      Learn RAM & SSD upgrades, OS installations, and troubleshooting common hardware issues.
